According to Foresight News, BitMine Chairman Tom Lee stated at the 'Consensus 2026' conference in Miami that BitMine is currently purchasing about 100,000 ETH per week. At this rate, BitMine is on track to reach a 5% holding target in Ethereum within the next 6 weeks, but the company is evaluating whether to slow down its buying pace and redirect capital toward a $4 billion stock buyback plan. He mentioned that BitMine's annualized staking revenue from Ethereum exceeds $300 million (around $1 million daily), with the company's overall daily cash flow exceeding $1.2 million, and it holds approximately $700 million in cash reserves.
In market analysis, Tom Lee stated that if Bitcoin closes above $76,000 by the end of May, it will mark three consecutive months of gains, officially signaling the end of the bear market, as historically Bitcoin has never remained in a bear market after three months of consecutive increases. He provided three target price levels for Ethereum: if Bitcoin rises to $250,000 and the ETH/BTC ratio returns to its 2021 peak, Ethereum would be around $22,000; if the ETH/BTC ratio hits a highly optimistic level of 0.25, it would correspond to about $62,000; and if tokenization experiences massive growth, making Ethereum the primary settlement layer for a multi-trillion-dollar market, it could reach $250,000.
