According to a report from Pakistan's leading business magazine 'Profit', Zuma Resources has signed a three-year agreement with the US-based telecom provider Telna.
Zuma is now in the process of obtaining an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) license from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
The entry of new networks will increase competition in the market, benefiting end-users with cheaper packages.
Zuma will utilize Multi-IMSI technology.
This technology allows multiple country network profiles to exist within a single SIM card. In other words, your one SIM will function as a 'local SIM' in different countries, eliminating expensive international roaming charges.
The global agreement with Telna means that if you travel outside Pakistan (for example, to Saudi Arabia, Dubai, or Europe), you won't need to buy a local SIM there. Zuma's SIM will automatically switch to the local network, making calls and data cheaper.
