Cardano [ADA] has fluctuated around 0.24 USD since the bullish trend collapsed at 0.26 USD, amid global liquidity tightening once again. At the time of writing, ADA is trading at 0.24 USD, having increased slightly by 1.17% in the 24-hour timeframe.

During this same period, the trading volume of this altcoin increased by 48% to 600 million USD, indicating that market activity is on the rise.

Cardano buyers still hold control

Although this altcoin has adjusted and the trend has turned bearish, structurally, it still maintains an optimistic state. In the short-term timeframes, market demand for this currency shows no signs of weakening.

In fact, buyers have shown significant strength even after the recent price drop. Specifically on Binance, demand remains steady, with this altcoin recording a buying volume of 133.7 million and a selling volume of 121 million.

This altcoin is maintaining a positive market delta of 28 million, indicating that buyers are largely dominant on Binance. Furthermore, activity on exchanges also reflects this market behavior.

These momentum indicators show market strength in the short term and also signal the potential recovery of the market. Therefore, if buyers continue to act aggressively, ADA will hold firm at 0.24 USD and aim to reclaim the mark of 0.26 USD soon.

The long-term outlook remains predominantly negative

However, on weekly charts, the market is still in a strong downtrend with momentum overshooting downwards. In fact, this altcoin has traded in a bearish channel since late August 2025.

The consequence of this prolonged downtrend is that Cardano's Relative Strength Index (RSI) has fallen deep into the negative zone. At the time of reporting, the RSI is fluctuating around 30, nearly entering the oversold region.

Such a decline indicates that the market is primarily experiencing selling activity. Similarly, the Momentum Shift indicator of this altcoin has remained negative since mid-December 2025, confirming the strength of the downward trend.

When these indicators are set up this way, they signal strong selling pressure and the likelihood of continued trend. Unless the market environment cools off sustainably, Cardano is likely to decline further.

If this trend continues, ADA may break the support level of 0.24 USD and decline further. However, if the broader cryptocurrency market maintains an upward trend, ADA will reclaim the level of 0.29 USD and move towards the mark of 0.3 USD.
