Many people view day trading as a war — a field where, for someone to win, another must lose. This view, besides being limited, is one of the biggest misconceptions of those who are just starting. The financial market is not a race with a finish line, nor a direct competition between people. It is a dynamic environment where millions of participants make decisions based on different strategies, timeframes, and objectives.

While one trader operates on the 1-minute chart looking for quick movements, another may be positioned on the 4-hour chart aiming for larger trends. Both can exit with profit, each within their own vision and plan. In other words, there is no single 'winner.' What exists is those who follow their own strategy with consistency and emotional control.

Blaming the market, the 'whales', the news, or other traders for one's own mistakes is the first step towards stagnation. The mature trader understands that the only factor they can control is themselves. The difference between those who evolve and those who give up lies in accepting responsibility for decisions, learning from mistakes, and refining the method.

Ultimately, the market is not against you — it simply reflects how prepared you are to deal with it.
