Hex Trust has introduced a 1:1 backed wrapped XRP on the Solana network, enabling users and institutions to access XRP within Solana's decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. According to NS3.AI, over 834,000 XRP, valued at approximately $1.2 million, has already been minted on the network. This launch extends the utility of XRP beyond its native XRP Ledger, utilizing a custody-and-mint model to facilitate broader integration into Solana's DeFi space.
