$BR Ten Years of Cryptocurrency Trading: From Confusion to Steady Profits
In 2016, by a stroke of luck, I was introduced to cryptocurrency trading. At that time, I saw people around me making money from it, and in a moment of excitement, I invested all my savings of 20,000 yuan.
Initially, I knew nothing and blindly followed others in making purchases, resulting in losing more than half of my investment in just a few days. I was anxious and helpless.
However, I did not give up; instead, I began to learn intensively. Gradually, I figured out some practical tips.
First, diversification is key.
Don’t put all your funds into one type of cryptocurrency. I would divide my funds into several parts, investing in different types of coins, including mainstream and promising altcoins.
For example, I allocated a portion of my funds into relatively stable coins like Bitcoin, while another portion was invested in smaller coins with innovative technologies.
This way, even if one coin performs poorly, others may yield profits, balancing the overall risk.
Second, set strict stop-loss and take-profit levels.
Cryptocurrency trading is highly volatile; without stop-loss and take-profit measures, it’s easy to give back profits or incur even greater losses.
I set rules for myself: if a trade reaches a 20% profit, I take some profits; if a loss exceeds 10%, I decisively cut my losses.
Once, a purchased altcoin was performing well, and I didn’t get greedy; I took profits as planned, and later that coin quickly plummeted, helping me avoid a disaster.
Third, stay calm and don’t be swayed by emotions.
Market conditions change rapidly; seeing others making money should not make you envious, and don’t panic if you incur losses. $BIO
During a major market downturn, many panicked and sold off their holdings, but I analyzed calmly and found that the fundamentals of the coins I held hadn’t changed. I held on, and later the market rebounded, leading to significant gains.
After eight years of trading, I have seen both profits and losses, but I have always grown. Trading is like a marathon; it’s not about who can run fast at first, but who can persist until the end.
As long as we continue to learn, master methods, and maintain a positive mindset, we can find our own space in this challenging market and reap our own wealth and growth.
