Iran reacted strongly after the United States (US) was accused of violating several important agreements on the first day of the ceasefire. This situation has caused relations between the two countries to heat up again even though they had just agreed to de-escalate the conflict.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that there are three points out of a total of 10 demands that have already been violated. In fact, the agreement should have been the initial basis for peace negotiations.
He also highlighted violations related to Lebanese territory that should have been included in the ceasefire scope. Additionally, drone activity has still been detected entering Iranian airspace.
Not just that, Iran also says the US and Israel still refuse Tehran’s right to enrich uranium. However, that point is one of the main conditions in Iran’s peace proposal.
On the other hand, the White House said it does not accept any of the clauses included in the agreement proposed by Iran. Even, Trump was said to have thrown the document into the trash.
