Continuing from the previous post, I personally feel that trading in the next two weeks will be relatively difficult. My current thoughts are:
1) The best bottom-fishing opportunity has already "flown away". In the short term, I will engage in "day trading" and mainly go long. With too many variables in the remaining two weeks of October, I don't want to go against the market. It's hard to set stop losses, so I’ll just stick to short-term trading, not complicating it with macro factors, and focus on my own matters.
2) Before November 1st, the market will be like a "mirage"; anything can happen. You can refer to the trends of March-April. That Trump guy is always "dominating the news", and there is significant volatility in the news front, so positions should be light, and short-term operations will be the most comfortable.
3) I expect "cliff-like" selling pressure at the end of Friday’s trading session, because with the weekend approaching, everyone is afraid of "踩雷" (triggering unexpected losses), especially before November 1st, when Trump and Vance’s "divine operations" might quietly put pressure on the market during the stock market's closure.
4) Once the volatility of options drops, I plan to seize the opportunity to engage in an options operation, targeting the days around October 31st. Interest rate cuts, APEC, and tariff negotiations coming together make these three days simply "explosive points". Seize the opportunity and make a big move.
What are your thoughts for the next two weeks?
