New to Cardano NFTs? With more cross-chain partnerships and interest from other blockchains, I wanted to cover the basics:
Why?

Cardano NFTs are actual native tokens on the network (not just a script in a contract that points to a wallet)

The NFT degen life is much sweeter without gas fees. The fees on Cardano are relatively low (~$0.1), especially when compared to Ethereum.

Secure
No blockchain is 100% safe, but Cardano is as close as you can get with any top L1. Smart-Contracts are coded in Plutus, giving it a security advantage.

Eco-friendly
The proof-of-stake mechanism is less energy intensive. In other words, Cardano doesn't kill baby turtles.
