Binance is honored to collaborate with the innovative, award-winning artist The Weeknd on his After Hours Til Dawn tour. In this article, we'll take a look at the special NFTs we're working on with him and explain how we raised money for charity through this collaboration.

The Weeknd is considered by many to be one of the most fascinating and creative artists on the current music scene. Their last two albums, After Hours (2020) and Dawn FM (2022), have achieved great success, both among critics and commercially, topping sales charts in more than ten countries.

2023 has started strong for The Weeknd. On March 3, the artist released a new album, Live At SoFi Stadium (2023), which was recorded as part of his current After Hours Til Dawn world tour, presented by Binance.

For us it is an honor to collaborate with The Weeknd on this international tour and help introduce Web3 to his fans around the world. Thanks to Binance, people who attend his concerts will be able to claim an official souvenir NFT with which, thanks to Web3 technology, they will be able to relive the concert experience and access additional exclusive content from The Weeknd in the future (they can restrictions may apply depending on place of residence).

After the 21 concerts The Weeknd has already held in North America, the time has come for the rest of the world to enjoy the experience. Thirty concerts await us in Europe (from June to August 2023), followed by another 12 in Latin America (from September to October 2023).

Introducing Official The Weeknd Souvenir NFTs

If you have tickets to any of The Weeknd's upcoming concerts in Europe or Latin America, Ticketmaster will send you a code (restrictions may apply depending on where you live) that you can use to get your hands on an official digital collectible.

Please note that at the time of writing (March 2023), codes will only be sent to fans attending the following concerts on The Weeknd's international tour:

Europe: Barcelona (Spain), Madrid (Spain), Brussels (Belgium), Horsens (Denmark), Milan (Italy), Oslo (Norway), Prague (Czech Republic), Stockholm (Sweden), Tallinn (Estonia) and Warsaw ( Poland).

Latin America: Bogota (Colombia), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Guadalajara (Mexico), Mexico City (Mexico), Monterrey (Mexico), Lima (Peru), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and São Paulo (Brazil).

Codes are sent in batches, so if you qualify and are eligible for one but haven't received it yet, we ask that you wait a little longer. It may be sent closer to the date of the concert you are attending.

Additionally, Binance and The Weeknd are working on a special NFT collection from the tour. While memorabilia NFTs are only available to fans attending the international tour concerts in certain cities, the tour NFTs are part of a separate collection that will be made available for sale to fans and collectors alike. (restrictions may apply depending on place of residence).

This special collection will be made up of beautiful illustrations and a series of surprises. However, this will not be The Weeknd's first foray into the world of digital collectibles, as the musician has already sold one of his unreleased songs in the form of an NFT.

The NFT collection from The Weeknd's tour will arrive in 2023, so keep an eye on this section so you don't miss any details.

We raise money for the XO Humanitarian Fund

When the tour NFT collection is available, a percentage of sales will go to the XO Humanitarian Fund, a humanitarian fund created by The Weeknd and administered by the World Food Program (WFP). As a goodwill ambassador for the UN WFP, The Weeknd created the XO Humanitarian Fund with the goal of providing food to millions of people on the brink of famine.

To celebrate the collaboration of Binance and The Weeknd, and as part of our commitment to charitable causes (evident, among other things, in the humanitarian work carried out by Binance Charity), we are pleased to announce that we have already donated two million dollars to the background of this musician.
