There is talk about quantum computing
that maybe they can unlock lost Bitcoin. Yes... those that we all thought were lost forever. Dead wallets, hiding spots, all that.
I always believed that those coins were basically out of circulation. Like burned. Lost. End of story.
But now, if this turns out to be possible... then the supply is not really fixed in the way we thought it was. That changes the whole idea of scarcity a bit, doesn't it?
I'm not saying it's going to happen tomorrow or anything, quantum technology still feels somewhat far away... but still. This changes a bit how I see things.
It feels weird even to think about it, honestly.
