In the last weeks, we worked with AI and reviewed more than 10,000 combinations of trading strategies — different styles, entry logics, market filters, and price behavior models.
The task was simple: remove everything unnecessary and leave only what truly shows profit over time.

After the initial selection, a small group of strategies remained, which we began to analyze manually — examining the logic, stability, and behavior in different market phases.

And it was there that one very strange specimen caught my eye.

It has almost no complex logic.
No overload of signals.
No feeling of an 'intelligent' system.

On the contrary — everything looks suspiciously simple.

But the results… are not simple at all.

Backtests showed extremely interesting numbers, and the deeper you look, the more it feels like the strategy works differently than expected from classical approaches.

So far, no conclusions or loud statements — I decided to conduct a full experiment and see how it behaves in the real market.

Sometimes the most interesting things look too simple to believe in them.
