🤣HISTORY: Yesterday, October 3, 2025, I decided to join a Binance live session to understand what it was about. From the beginning, I realized that the conversation revolved around random topics and not necessarily related to the financial market. Even though I felt a bit out of place, I decided to participate and share my opinions.
However, I soon realized that the community was not interested in learning or discussing issues related to the financial market seriously. Instead, they focused on making unfounded claims and insulting those who did not share their opinions.
One of the highlights was when they claimed that the T.V platform was not useful for analyzing the market. I found it surprising that someone who presented themselves as an expert on the subject didn't know how to assess the usefulness of this tool. As someone who has dedicated years to studying technical and fundamental analysis of financial markets, I couldn't miss the opportunity to correct them.
"Do you really think that the T.V platform is not useful for analyzing the market?", I asked them. "Have you ever used the technical analysis tools it offers? Do you know how to interpret candlestick patterns, technical indicators, and market trends?"
My question was met with silence and then with insults from Teka69, the Argentine who led the community. He called me a "novice" and told me I didn't know anything at all. But I didn't stop there. I explained to him that my experience in the financial market had taught me to value the importance of education and continuous research.
"Do you know what really doesn't work?", I asked them. "It's the lack of knowledge and arrogance. If you really want to learn about the financial market, I am willing to share my knowledge with you. But if you only want to insult and make unfounded claims, then I have nothing to say to you."
One of the hosts of the room, who had remained silent until that moment, decided to intervene and called me a "clown". I replied that it was not me who was making a fool of myself by claiming to know more than I actually did.
I reminded them that from the beginning I had told them that I was not looking for money or anything, I just wanted to share my knowledge with them so that they wouldn't be neanderthals in the financial market. "I want to help you understand how the market really works," I told them. "But if you are not willing to listen and learn, then there is nothing more to say."
*The lesson learned*
This experience taught me to be more selective when choosing the communities and opinion leaders I follow. I realized that it is important to surround yourself with people who share the same level of knowledge and passion for the subject.
*Tips for those seeking to learn*
- Make sure to research and verify the credibility of information sources.
- Don't be swayed by people who claim to know everything without any basis.
- Look for communities that focus on providing valuable and constructive information.
- Don't be afraid to ask or seek help when you don't understand something.
I hope my experience is useful to you and helps you avoid falling into similar traps. Good luck in your quest for knowledge!
