Thanks to the setup by his 'friend' Netanyahu, Trump, having started a war against Iran, fell into a political trap. From which there is no good way out in any scenario. At the same time, his political losses can still be minimized, but not completely eliminated. Moreover, the harmful consequences personally for Trump and the USA (for example, in the event of a failed ground operation or significant losses of L.S.) may increase even more. And become catastrophic.

But in any closed system (which our planet is), if something decreases for someone, then something must increase for someone else.

And there are at least THREE such beneficiaries.

First of all, Iran itself. If it withstands 'the struggle against the hegemon' and even brings the war to a draw, it will thus gain a powerful political advantage. It will gain the right to dictate its will to its neighbors and thereby strengthen its political weight in the region. Which it will then convert into money and even greater growth of its influence.

After all, in this case, it is Iran that will make the decision regarding the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, and its interests will thus be reliably protected. This means that Iran can ultimately achieve what it has been striving for over 40 years – freedom and the lifting of sanctions (at least the main ones). And any attempt to impose them against it again may encounter a blockade of the strait (as the agreements on its unblocking will be violated).

Secondly, there is Russia. Moscow has already received the lifting of the main US oil sanctions. This gives us 'extra' $150-170 million a day in the budget. And strikes on Qatari gas plants are a 'brilliant move.' And not only from the standpoint of gas sales volumes. Moscow, against this backdrop, especially for China, proves that it has only one reliable supplier - Russia. And negotiations on the financial terms of the next big gas pipeline to China ('Power of Siberia-2') will be significantly simplified for Gazprom, while becoming more complicated for the 'Chinese partners.' And the roles in the negotiations will thus change to opposite ones. Now, the Russian supplier will no longer look obsequiously into the eyes of the Chinese, but the other way around.

And this is just the beginning. Yesterday, for example, Russia 'temporarily restricted the export of certain types of fertilizers.' The very ones that cannot currently be exported from the Persian Gulf. And there is a shortage of them. Now is the time to raise the issue of lifting all sanctions on Russia in this painful segment of global trade for the world. To fully restore its positions. Or even strengthen them. The same applies to the aluminum market or the polymer market, etc.

And also Russia, which has significant influence over Iran, has shown the countries of the Persian Gulf that it is the guarantor for them, not the USA. And that when it comes to their own security issues, they need to negotiate precisely with it, not Washington.

Thirdly, there is China. Despite some financial costs caused by rising raw material prices in global markets, overall China gains a lot from Trump's entanglement in the Iranian problem. These advantages far outweigh the disadvantages.

For starters, Trump is now not focused on war with China and not on Taiwan. This will noticeably simplify Beijing's situation with resolving the Taiwan issue. And thus, its own security. This will also serve as a lesson for Washington's allies in the region (Japan and South Korea). And they will no longer behave so 'brazenly' and will become more obedient and compliant.

But most importantly, if the USA suffers a strategic defeat in the Strait of Hormuz, it will lead to the beginning of similar processes all over the world. And the current 'world war' is being fought precisely for control over such points. And a retreat by the USA in one of them due to military defeat could become that turning point in the struggle between the USA and China, after which Washington's strategic defeat there will be predetermined.

And this could become the main 'prize' from Trump's Middle Eastern deadlock not only for China but for the world as a whole.
