Margaret Ryan, the enforcement director of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), has resigned approximately six months after assuming the position. According to NS3.AI, her departure follows internal disagreements concerning an investigation involving associates of U.S. President Donald Trump. The probe reportedly targeted Tron founder Justin Sun and Tesla CEO Elon Musk. Ryan's efforts to pursue fraud indictments were allegedly obstructed by SEC Chairman Paul Atkins and other officials appointed by the Republican administration.
