Taiwan's Hualien District Prosecutor's Office announced in a press release yesterday that it will conduct the first virtual currency USDT auction in April, with a total of 26,150 pieces.

The subject of the auction was the criminal proceeds seized by the prosecutors when they investigated a case involving a defendant named Zhou who violated the Money Laundering Prevention Act. It is understood that the USDT to be auctioned is currently stored in a cold wallet maintained by the Hualien Branch of the Hualien County Police Department.
