Layer1 public chain Sei Network announced that it will soon launch the final version of the testnet, Atlantic-2. Sei Network regards this version as Sei’s last milestone before the launch of the mainnet. According to reports, Atlantic-2 will adopt Sei’s Twin Turbo consensus, DeliverTx and Enblock parallelization, and permissionless deployment. Among them, the Twin Turbo consensus has the functions of Intelligent Block Propagation and Optimistic Block Processing, enabling Sei to broadcast and process blocks faster than ordinary Tendermint.
In terms of parallelization, Sei uses two different types of parallelization to further improve network throughput and latency. DeliverTx parallelization allows parallelization of all types of transactions, while Endblock parallelization only applies to order transactions. (Planet Daily)
