Binance's VIP program is continuously optimized to better reward the many high-value users who contribute to the platform, enabling us to identify and provide support earlier in users' journey of deeper participation in the ecosystem.
To this end, Binance is updating the core qualification criteria related to trading and asset allocation in the VIP program while ensuring that level recognition is linked to sustained and meaningful participation.
Main changes to the VIP program
1. Lower the BNB holding requirement for VIP levels 1-3
The BNB holding threshold will be lowered and the standards for each VIP plan will be unified, making it easier to upgrade VIP levels while maintaining the integrity of the plans.

2. Lower the contract trading volume requirements for VIP levels 1-3 and adjust the fees accordingly.
We have also lowered the trading volume requirements for USDT-margined contracts and coin-margined contracts to better match current market dynamics and participation patterns.
With the update of qualification requirements, the trading fees for VIP 1-VIP 2 have been slightly adjusted to maintain a balanced fee structure. The trading fees for VIP 3 remain unchanged.

Contract Rebate Rules and Assessment Scope Upgrade Notice
Starting from March 19, 2026, with the adjustment of the contract VIP level threshold, the rebate rights of referrers will also be upgraded. Referrers can earn contract commissions generated by invitees from ordinary users to VIP level 2, which was previously limited to VIP level 1.
At the same time, the contract trading volume of invitees from ordinary users to VIP level 2 will also be included in the contract assessment indicators for super rebate members.
3. The new VIP standard for holdings and investors' plans extends VIP levels to VIP 9
Users who obtain VIP qualifications through holding cryptocurrency or investment activities (including Binance savings) will now follow a new qualification framework under the holding plan. That is, VIP users can maintain their highest VIP level while reallocating assets across products.
In addition, BNB holdings will also be counted in the total asset calculation and BNB holding requirements. The updated holding plan will cover all assets in Binance account wallets, including spot, contracts, funds accounts, savings, and Alpha.
For example: if your account holds 250 BNB (assuming a current value of $150,000) and other assets worth $100,000, your account will be recognized as holding $250,000 in assets while meeting the 250 BNB holding requirement, thus qualifying your account for the new holding VIP 2.
This update also expands the VIP levels that holders and investors can reach. Through this change, users can now qualify for VIP levels 5-9 based on their asset holdings, providing a clearer path for long-term holders and investors to upgrade to higher VIP levels.

4. Launch of the VIP Star Program
We officially launch the VIP Star Program aimed at recognizing and supporting users with high potential on their journey to Binance VIP.
Users with a daily average or 30-day average net asset balance of $30,000 (including 5 or more BNB) will qualify for this exclusive title, which is designed for active growing holders who have not yet unlocked full VIP rights.
VIP Stars will receive exclusive VIP support, qualification for selected activities, and exclusive opportunities aimed at helping them promote to Binance VIP faster while enjoying corresponding rewards during the process.
Main Change Timeline
BNB holding and contract trading requirements: Updated on March 20, 2026, 07:59 (UTC+8) will take effect.
New VIP holding plan: The update will synchronize on March 21, 2026, 07:59 (UTC+8).
VIP Star Program: Update will take effect on March 21, 2026, 07:59 (UTC+8).
Eligible users will be automatically upgraded to the corresponding VIP level after the changes take effect. After the upgrade, users can check the latest VIP level through my VIP center.
How to Join the Binance VIP Program
There are various ways to join Binance VIP, including trading, holding, and lending. You can qualify for VIP by meeting the minimum requirements for Binance VIP.
VIP levels are updated daily at 16:00 (UTC+8) based on applicable requirements. If you meet multiple criteria, your VIP level will reflect the highest level you have achieved.
