Hello everyone! 👋 After two months of absence, I am writing to catch up. I know that many were waiting for updates, but I have been very busy with my main job, which prevented me from posting here on Binance Square.
As you know, I am a very conservative trader. My priority is always to protect capital before seeking quick profits. However, the last two months have been a real challenge. We are in a super bullish market 📈, and the rises have been so aggressive that maintaining short positions would have been catastrophic. An example of this is the rise of $MYX, which went from $0.070 to $18. 🤯 a 21 thousand % increase.
Given this scenario, I made a crucial decision: I preferred to close trades with small losses instead of risking massive losses that would take me months to recover. My main focus in July and August was to avoid losses.
To adapt to this new environment, I was working intensively on my bots. After several tests, I have managed to modify the code to better suit current volatility. Now I feel more confident with the strategy, and I am ready to resume posts.
Results of July and August
Gate.io
July was a good month on Gate.io, with a gain of +$327.54 USDT ✅. However, in August we had a different result, with only +$9.05 USDT in profit. This drop was due to a programming error in a futures trade.
Normally, 95% of my trades on Gate are on isolated margin, where the results have always been solid. Futures trades are rare, but usually profitable. The problem was that when trying to add USDT as a hedge, the bot did not do it automatically as in Binance. I was unaware that in Gate the transferred amount would not be added automatically as a hedge; you have to take another step to add that capital. In a token that rose 800% in minutes, I was liquidated for $-147 😱. Minutes later, that same coin fell 80%, just as I had predicted. No worries, sometimes you win and sometimes you LEARN 😎. I have corrected the mistake.
Binance
In Binance, the results of both months were negative. In July, we had:
Futures: -$14.92
Copy Trader: +$26.72
And in August:
Futures: -$82.70
Copy Trader: -$68.52
Honestly, we have not done well in Binance. 😕 I hope that with the changes I have implemented, we can avoid these losses in the future. This is a very strong bull market, but I have noticed that manipulation on Binance is brutal. When a token rises, it does not correct, and funding costs become unsustainable.
A change of focus
Despite the difficulties in Binance, I have seen that Gate.io maintains profitability, even with a much smaller capital. In six months, I have gained 30% on that platform, with a profit of $1,189 USDT, and I never have more than $1,500 in that account.
Therefore, I am thinking of giving more priority to Gate.io and trading with small capital in several sub-accounts simultaneously. I believe this strategy could work much better than in Binance. At the end of this month, I will decide whether to transfer more capital to Gate.io. 🚀

To close, here is the calculation of the net profit or loss for the two months:
Gate.io: +$327.54 (July) + $9.05 (August) = +$336.59
Binance: +$26.72 (July-Copy Trader) - $14.92 (July-Futures) - $82.70 (August-Futures) - $68.52 (August-Copy Trader) = -$139.42
Total net gain/loss: $336.59 - $139.42 = +$197.17 Gate saved the months once again

Total net gain: +$197.17
Capital at the beginning of July: $9,399.61
Capital at the end of August: $9,399.61 + $197.17 = $9,596.78
Profitability of the two months: = +2.1%
Accumulated profitability since January 2025
Capital at the beginning of January: $8,064.40
Capital at the end of August: $9,596.78
Accumulated profitability: +18.99%
Despite the difficulties, we closed the two months with a positive net gain.
I will start publishing my Binance signals normally; I paused them due to the extreme bullish strength. WARNING: Be very careful with your risk; when I publish, it is safer to expect a correction, but it is not infallible. Do not enter with too much capital and manage your risk.
These two months I will not hold a raffle; I want to wait for the gains to be more solid.
