Ripple's XRP currently seems to be situated between two very different stories. On the business side, Ripple continues to add pieces to the puzzle. Ripple Prime is now listed in the NSCC directory, bringing the XRP Ledger closer to traditional U.S. financial rails.
However, the company has launched a new update to its payment platform, adding custody services, unified collections, and automated payments for businesses that transfer money on an international scale.
The scale is not negligible. Ripple claims to have processed over $100 billion, operates in over 60 markets, and holds over 75 licenses. Companies like Corpay, AMINA Bank, Banco Genial, and MassPay are already using the system.
But the market is not celebrating yet. The price of XRP is hovering around $1.36 and has dropped towards the $1.30 area.
Open interest has fallen sharply, meaning that many leveraged positions have been liquidated. This reduces some immediate pressure but also shows that traders remain cautious and volatility is still present.

Ripple's enterprise push: why it matters
Ripple clearly positions itself as enterprise infrastructure, not just as a cryptocurrency company.
The latest update shows that Ripple Payments now allows businesses to collect, hold, exchange, and pay in fiat and stablecoins from a single system. This is a significant step towards fully integrated financial services.
Managed custody adds security for institutions. Unified collections simplify global incoming flows. Advanced liquidity tools help businesses move funds frictionlessly. When combined with over 75 regulatory licenses and a presence in more than 60 markets, the strategy becomes clear.
This is about building long-term utility. The question is how much of that utility translates into short-term demand for XRP.
Short-term pressure vs long-term expansion
Despite the good economic news, the price of XRP is currently being tested at a major level around $1.30.
When open interest falls sharply, it is generally a sign that all leveraged positions have been liquidated. This could actually alleviate bearish pressure, but also shows a lack of confidence in the asset.
Currently, the asset is influenced by a combination of growing enterprise infrastructure and short-term bearish sentiment.
XRP price targets if momentum strengthens
XRP is trading around $1.36, and the first obstacle above is near $1.50. This level has halted the last rebound attempts, so it is the one buyers need to break through.
If XRP continues to rise and surpasses $1.50, then manages to stay there, the next area of interest is around $1.70 to $1.80.
If buyers do not slow down at that point and the price continues to rise, the next areas to watch are close to $2.00 and then $2.20.
If the price of XRP starts to decline and falls below $1.30, the next levels to watch will be around $1.20. However, if it drops below, the next level will be around $1.00.
Ripple, as a company, continues to expand its reach. The business side is growing. But the price has not yet confirmed anything. It is still confined to a range.
March could end simply: will the price of XRP go back above $1.50, or will it drop below $1.30 first?
