Somnia Mainnet: Consensus & Staking Hardened After Hacken Audits @Somnia Official
Somnia $SOMI , an EVM-compatible L1 that separates high-throughput data dissemination from low-latency PBFT consensus, officially launched mainnet on Sept 2, 2025 with the $SOMI token and around 60 validators.
Before launch, Hacken completed a comprehensive security audit of Somnia’s smart contracts and PBFT core to:

✅ Fix vulnerabilities that could lead to forks, fund loss, or a network halt
Audit results
Protocol (PBFT/C++): 16 findings → 6 fixed, 10 accepted
Staking & Committee (UUPS): 31 findings → 18 fixed, 9 accepted, 4 mitigated
🔒 With critical issues resolved, Somnia went live with stronger validator operations, safer staking mechanisms, and greater reliability for developers, partners, and users.
