I often post winning trades but actually, I'm still in a PNL loss for life, you guys :)))
Today, while browsing, I saw that the coin BAKE is about to be delisted, and suddenly old memories came flooding back, so I’m reminiscing a bit about my journey into crypto, which has almost always been closely tied to the Binance exchange.
I joined the market relatively early (6/2017), but back then I only played a few Lending system coins and didn’t know what trading was.
Then in 2018-2019, BTC dropped from 19k to 4k, the Lending system collapsed completely, so I withdrew all my money, erased everything related to crypto, and went into hiding.
By the time of 2021-2022, the crypto cycle came around again… going out for tea and coffee, everyone was talking about bitcoin, I decided to return to the market with 4k in hand. In just one month, I traded up to 12k using spot (At that time Binance listed the BAKE coin, so I fomoed and hit the jackpot :3). Very quickly after that, the market entered Altseason, my assets only traded spot but at one point reached 80k, a dizzying speed of growth.
I went all in on LINK at 47k, hoping LINK would rise to 100k, but life isn't a dream….LINK peaked at 54k and then retraced by half. Holding 40k in hand… I let it evaporate completely into Futures, yes, you heard right… burned almost entirely in one trade ;)))
Now in 2025, I’m back in the market and continuing my unfinished work of “finding back the 40k lost in the past,” and currently, the PNL number looks much more bearable now… the shore seems a bit closer :v The lessons from the previous uptrend are still there, the painful losses affecting my mindset and those around me… every day, little by little, I try to prevent it from happening again.
P/S: I’m holding 30% in spot, 40% in USDC savings, and using only 30% of my account for Futures. Follow my journey to the shore, okay!
