I really envy you guys, I also want to quit my job and go All in Web3, can you take me with you?

I really can't take people with me. First, my energy is indeed limited, and second, everyone has to walk their own path. However, the question of 'should I go full-time in the crypto field' is worth a serious discussion.

1. Is it a main job or a side job? Don't rush to go 'All in'!

Is it easy to make money in the crypto field?

Sometimes it really is fast. Some people buy a Meme coin and turn $1,000 into $100,000 in a few days — but the reason such stories get spread is precisely that they are rare. Most people earn and lose, or even get stuck.

If you also want to invest full-time, ask yourself three questions first:

1️⃣ How much 'spare money that won’t affect your life even if you lose it all' do you have?

Don't think about getting rich 'through trading' right away. The market is unpredictable, and no one can make money forever.

You need to have a sum of money that can 'not affect your life even if you don't make money for half a year'. Otherwise, your mindset can easily collapse.

2️⃣ What is your core advantage?

If you don't have much money, time might be your advantage.

This industry is not just about capital; it's more about cognition, endurance, and learning ability.

For example:

You are good at research, can dig deep into projects, do airdrops, and earn rewards;

You understand technology, can develop projects, write contracts, and create tools;

You are good at expressing yourself and can do self-media, write articles, make videos...

Even if you only know how to 'hold on', if you can hold BTC/ETH steadily, you'll outperform many when the bull market comes.

3️⃣ Can you stay focused?

There are many ways to make money, but you need to find the path that suits you best.

Don't play with meme coins today, rush into DeFi tomorrow, and then mess with NFTs the day after—ultimately you'll know a little about everything, but nothing in depth.

If you really want to work full-time, I suggest you first treat it as a side job to test the waters. Use the time you usually spend scrolling through short videos or watching dramas:

Learn the basics

Try small capital trading

Join the community for交流

Output content, accumulate knowledge

Once you can steadily earn some money, it's not too late to consider a full-time job.

Second, how much do you need to earn to truly change your life?

Many people jump in and say, 'I want A8, A9', 'I want financial freedom.'

But to be honest, have you calculated it seriously?

Let's do a simple thinking exercise (taking 5 years as an example):

1️⃣ How much money do you need?

—— Mortgage, car loan, daily expenses, children's education, parents' retirement...

Be grounded, first calculate how much money you need to 'survive' for the next 5 years.

2️⃣ How much money do you want to earn?

—— Change car? Change house? Travel? Lie flat?

You can have lofty goals, but you must also be clear about the cost of each step.

3️⃣ How do you make money?

Continue working for promotions and raises?

Trading stocks/coins/investments?

Side job/self-media/freelance?

Or... is it all just luck?

If your current annual salary is 100,000 and you earn an additional 100,000 through Web3, that's already a huge improvement.

Don't get anxious just because you see others making 1 million dollars—that's someone else's script, it has nothing to do with you.

💰 Money is a tool, not the end goal. What you really want is a better life, not infinite numerical growth.

🧠 If your understanding is not in place, you will earn and then lose it back. Never go all in with money you can't afford to lose.

✍️ This industry is suitable for people who come with their own skills: can write, can speak, can code, can research, can gather resources... at least one is essential.

🚀 If you really like Web3, start with a side job. Use your spare time to learn, try, and accumulate—only then will you be ready when opportunities arise.

There's no need to envy others showing off their cars, houses, and yachts.

There's no need to force yourself to become 'another person'.

Be grounded and improve your life step by step.
