DWF Labs: Over 80% of tokens fall below their issuance price within 90 days, capital shifts towards crypto equities and mergers.

According to news from Hash World, a recent report by DWF Labs indicates that over 80% of tokens fall below their issuance price within 90 days after the Token Generation Event (TGE), primarily due to overvaluation and declining liquidity undermining investor confidence, along with factors such as airdrops and early unlock sell-offs. In contrast, crypto-related companies have performed strongly through IPOs and mergers and acquisitions, with expectations that crypto IPO financing will increase to $14.6 billion by 2025, and total merger and acquisition transactions will reach $42.5 billion, setting a new five-year high. The report points out that stocks enjoy a higher price-to-sales ratio premium compared to tokens (7-40 times versus 2-16 times), due to factors including institutional access, potential for index inclusion, and diversified investment strategies. By 2026, more crypto companies like Kraken and Consensys plan to go public, marking an accelerated integration of the crypto industry with traditional finance. DWF Labs believes that the future of the digital asset space will place greater emphasis on fundamental and sustainable income product development, driving the industry towards long-term value creation.
