The head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, has disseminated among EU member states a document with demands for Russia regarding Ukraine, reports "Strana.ua".
"The demands include a reduction in the number of Russian troops and their withdrawal from neighboring countries, reparations, and the necessity of democratizing society," the publication states.

The document also asserts that peace in Ukraine will not be established without the EU's participation at the negotiating table and without considering its interests.

"This is a very maximalist view of the EU on what Russia should do," the material states.
The document also mentions the demand to compensate for damages to Ukraine, European states, and companies. Additionally, the list contains a point on banning Russian military presence in Belarus, Moldova, Georgia, and Armenia.

It is specified that the document will be discussed at the meeting of foreign ministers of the union on February 23 in Brussels.
