Ouch, Ethereum is having a rough day. It's down about 3.6% today, which is its biggest drop since the beginning of the month.1 That's a bit of a letdown after it had two good days in a row.
Even with today's slip, it's still doing pretty well overall this year, up almost 29%! It's definitely come a long way from a year ago when it was trading at around $2,368.2 In fact, it's more than double that price now.
The all-time high of nearly $4,955 was just a couple of weeks ago, so it's pulled back from that peak.3 But hey, it's a huge comeback from its low point back in April when it was just under $1,400.4 Today, it dropped a bit lower than usual at one point, but it's still holding its ground pretty well.
