How does Neutron work?
Neutron is built on a flexible, modular knowledge base system. The core idea is to make knowledge easier to access, verify, and use. In this system, the most fundamental intelligent unit is called Seed.
What is a Seed?
A Seed can be understood as a knowledge capsule or knowledge seed. It is an independent unit used to store and organize information.
A Seed can contain: over 50 types of texts in multiple languages, images and visual materials, PDF files and structured documents, references to other Seeds, AI-generated semantic vectors (used for intelligent understanding), and optional blockchain verification and ownership records. Each Seed is independent yet interconnected.
Where does Neutron's intelligence come from?
Every Seed goes through AI processing to generate semantic vectors, supporting similarity semantic search, not just keyword search, establishing connections between text and images, building knowledge graphs, so Neutron is not just 'storing data', but has semantic enhancement and logical relationship graph enhancement.
Dual storage architecture: Offchain + Onchain
Neutron adopts a dual storage structure, making the system both efficient and secure.
Offchain storage
This is the default mode suitable for daily use, supporting complete documents and multimedia, fast search speed, low cost, and high performance, mainly using lightning-fast search and index search estimated to be BM25.
Onchain storage
When verification or rights confirmation is needed, on-chain functions can be enabled. The main features include: metadata is tamper-proof, providing encrypted verification and audit records, managing ownership in a decentralized way, running on @Vanarchain with extremely low Gas fees ($VANRY ). In summary, activate on-chain functions when verification or traceability is needed.
Onchain storage and privacy security
When the Seed is stored on the chain, it is managed by a dedicated smart contract, which includes: an encrypted hash of the file (for content verification); an encrypted pointer to the UltraPDF compressed file; securely stored embedding vectors (up to 65KB per document); owner address and permission settings; timestamp and history.
Only the document owner can decrypt the content; the system itself will not read or expose the raw data. Neutron has prioritized privacy from the beginning. Data is encrypted on the client side before sending, on-chain data always remains encrypted, and metadata will not leak personal or business information.
Your data always belongs to you. No one can access, verify, or share it unless you allow them to.
Neutron is not a simple storage system
It is a modular knowledge base system, AI-enhanced engine, supporting structured and unstructured data, supporting an on-chain rights confirmation architecture system, and is private and secure. It allows data not only to be stored but also to be more easily understood.
