And how much will the state reimburse for my liquidation at $M? )
ℹ️ A bit of current news:
In general, I have already heard this from every person who earned more than $100 in crypto since 2020... oh, what will happen to my 0.027 $ETH when legalization hits? )
For me, taxation of crypto still sounds like taxation of fiat dollars. Of course, you can try to do this... but will you succeed? )
And so:
Crypto enthusiasts who are not going to pay taxes, won't pay them. Often simply because there is nothing to pay from. On the other hand, when you think about taking 30% from workers who risk half their depot daily to earn $20... it's quite a bad idea. Because everyone will just look for gray ways to cash out.
Scammers — who have piled up 100500 million $USDT in offices, might pay something, like to do partially 'in the clear' and legalize their millions. But that's not about us.
The average crypto worker will calmly withdraw their $1000/month through P2P and not know trouble... just as it has always been. In the worst case, you can go to your neighbor and sell him on-chain $USDT for his green hryvnias.
Crypto dwellers who have managed to earn even a little (I'm talking about amounts of $20–50k $USDT) will find a million schemes, as it has always been, to legally cash out into fiat and not pay taxes :)
Right now, crypto for the state is just a new market from which they also want to collect taxes. Those at the top say: you trade there, but don't forget about us :)
1. There is no infrastructure for this
2. There will be plenty of bypass schemes
3. How will losses on PnL be taxed? If I had a liquidation of $100k in 2020, then I actually invested and lost. Do I now have a reserve of $100k for withdrawal? )
4. How to track your positive or negative investor experience if you have 100500 transactions on the same number of exchanges and on-chain wallets?
From my feelings — this is just an imitation of work and an attempt to rein in the crypto market :) As it usually happens, the state will just create a bunch of new problems for crypto enthusiasts.
Give a normal tax rate, for example — 3% tax on profit from crypto for workers, I will report to you every month about the income of CryptoWay... (which is none) since the beginning of summer, although it's already autumn, I just tasted the dish called 'take-profit' for the first time today
In general, there is no need to panic or, conversely, hope for a bright future for crypto — just observe and calmly work.
