The U.S. Consumer Price Index (CPI) for January will be released this Friday at 21:30 Beijing time. Experts expect:
• The overall CPI (inflation in general) will rise by 2.5% year-on-year, down from 2.7% last month.
• The core CPI (excluding food and energy) is also around 2.5% year-on-year, with a slight increase of 0.3% month-on-month.
