Inflation is expected to decrease in January, and the Fed is likely to keep rates unchanged.
The U.S. Consumer Price Index (CPI) for January will be released this Friday at 21:30 Beijing time. Experts expect:
• The overall CPI (inflation in general) will rise by 2.5% year-on-year, down from 2.7% last month.
• The core CPI (excluding food and energy) is also around 2.5% year-on-year, with a slight increase of 0.3% month-on-month.
