1. Incorrect address

When withdrawing coins and transferring funds online, there is an address verification by default, if the address is invalid and does not meet the address verification standards, it cannot be withdrawn, so the coins will not be lost.

For example, if you are going to withdraw BTC, but enter an ETH address. Such currency transfer in different public chains does not work; in this case, the exchange or wallet will display a message that this address cannot be withdrawn.

2. Physical address

If it is a valid address, it can definitely be sent. If the other party is an unused account, the coins will be lost directly and cannot be recovered;

If the other party is an account that someone else is using, you can try to contact the other party to see if they are willing to give it back to you;

However, if it is a transfer between two currencies on the same public network, such as BTC transferred to a BCH address, the coin may be lost and cannot be recovered.

3. Opting out of a third-party platform

If you withdraw money through a third-party platform, for example, you withdraw money from your Huobi account to other wallets, generally, after you initiate a withdrawal on the Huobi platform, it must be verified by the platform before you can transfer it . Before submitting, if you find that you have provided an incorrect address, please contact customer service or platform staff as soon as possible, and it may be intercepted. Once the audit is approved and sent, the transfer has already reached the block network and there is no way to retrieve it.
