Life is like a dream. Sitting on a green train heading to a distant place, the scenery outside the window passes by my eyes. Past events emerge in my mind involuntarily, so clear and real, but everything has become the past, leaving only what is called memory.

After arriving at the station, I got off the train with my luggage and came to the third "hometown" of my life. After a period of adaptation, I got used to the local customs and habits. During this period of time, life was monotonous and fulfilling, but not as rich and exciting as college days. I occasionally called my family to report that I was safe. During that time, my grandmother's condition was still stable, and I didn't have much to worry about. In this way, a year passed unknowingly. 7:15 pm on January 4, 2013 was the saddest moment in my life. At that time, the mobile phone in my pocket kept vibrating, and I felt inexplicably uneasy. I answered the call from my uncle: Grandma just passed away. When I heard this, the whole world suddenly became quiet and dim, and tears flowed down in an instant. I knew that the person closest to me would leave forever, and I would never hear the familiar and kind hometown accent again. The dialect word "grandma" would be buried in my heart forever. The next day, I returned home, attended my grandmother's funeral, and returned to work the next day. During that time, I became much quieter, not interested in anything, and silently looked at the books and materials for review and preparation.

In June of that year, I was admitted to another good university through my own efforts. When I received the admission letter, I was so excited that I couldn't express it in words. On August 7, I took a plane for the first time in my life and arrived in one of the "hottest" cities in the country. My grandfather, my father and my uncle were waiting for me at the airport gate early, and everyone's faces were filled with joy. I was also very proud of myself. The achievement achieved through personal efforts was like the joy of autumn harvest. I think only those who have experienced setbacks and finally succeeded can deeply feel the same. At that time, I felt comfortable with my whole body and soul, because I believed that my future would at least not be too bad! In my heart, I also said to my grandmother silently, Grandma, I succeeded!

The new university has such a beautiful environment, complete teaching facilities, and delicious canteen food. Everything is unimaginable. Is this true? Of course it is true, I answered happily in my heart!

Come on, young man! Your future is no worse than others!
