🚀 Big news: Plasma is now part of CryptoUK!
I am excited to share that we have officially joined CryptoUK. For our team, this is not just another partnership, but a logical step in the development of the infrastructure we are building.
Why is this important? At Plasma, we believe that stablecoins are not just 'crypto for trading', but the foundation of future payments. We are working on the entire stack: from our own Layer 1 blockchain to the neobank Plasma One, which finally makes digital dollars convenient for everyday purchases and savings.
Why do we need CryptoUK?
The stablecoin space is currently at a stage where constructive dialogue with regulators is a must-have. As our General Counsel Jake Wittman noted, we want to help create the rules of the game that support innovation rather than stifle it.
Together with Su Carpenter and the entire CryptoUK community, we will work to make the financial system of the UK (and the world) more transparent and accessible through stable digital assets.
