In the world of Web3, security is paramount, and a third party audit from a reputable firm like CertiK is often considered the gold standard for building user trust. While some sources claim Notcoin's smart contracts were audited by CertiK in early 2025, a critical transparency gap exists: as of August 2025, there is no publicly available audit report on CertiK's official website or other major audit databases. This discrepancy creates a significant risk for the ecosystem, forcing users to rely on trust rather than independent verification.

An audit report is more than just a checkmark, it is a detailed document that outlines the scope of the review, identifies specific vulnerabilities, grades their severity, and confirms whether they have been remediated. Without this public document, the community cannot assess the thoroughness of the alleged audit. Was it a full review of the entire codebase, or just a partial check? What minor issues were found and patched? While CertiK has done extensive work securing the broader TON ecosystem, this does not automatically extend to every application built upon it. The absence of a specific, public report for the  $NOT contract is a notable omission.

This issue is compounded by a key feature of the Notcoin smart contract: a powerful admin key that grants the Open Builders team the ability to upgrade the token's minter code at will. This is a double edged sword. It allows for flexibility and future improvements, but it also introduces a significant centralization risk. The security of the entire

$NOT ecosystem rests on the integrity and security practices of the team holding this key. An audit would typically scrutinize the controls around this key, such as the use of multi signature wallets, which is recommended in the project's own documentation.

For @The Notcoin Official , a project built on community and transparency, this audit ambiguity is a major hurdle. While there have been no major exploits to date, the lack of a verifiable public audit forces millions of users to make a critical trust assumption. For #Notcoin to mature, bridging this gap between claims and public proof will be essential for building lasting confidence in the  $NOT token.
