He then discovered Binance, and was attracted by the platform's low fees compared to to other exchanges, became one of the first users. GuerrierLegendaire's journey in the crypto universe began with a series of disappointments as he fell victim to scams and failed investments. Despite these disappointments, he continued to learn in the world of blockchain technology. In 2020, he attended a webinar hosted by Binance, where he received certification and saw the dedication of the Angels; his passion for cryptos was only strengthened. Motivated by his desire to pass on his crypto knowledge and help protect the community, Guerrier became a Binance Angel in September 2021.

5. Ramad

Rmaad is a Binance Angel who began his crypto journey during the COVID-19 pandemic. He was initially interested in the stock market, but eventually gravitated toward digital currencies after learning more about them. Rmaad was one of the first Swedish Angels.

6. That

The reliability and speed of trading on the platform impressed him, and Sen ended up joining the Binance Angels group after being invited by another Angel on Telegram. Since then, Sen has made it his goal to pass on his knowledge and encourage crypto education from his position as a member of a team of passionate volunteers.

7. Angelbpt

This program also allowed him to connect with like-minded people and benefit from the teachings of all members of the community.

8. Mubis

Passionate about cryptocurrencies, Mubis discovered the world of digital assets in 2015 when a friend of his sold his online gaming store for 5 bitcoins. The Angels talk about their contributions to local Telegram communities

Informing and protecting users from scams, which are unfortunately still present in the world of cryptos, is the number one mission of the Binance Angels. Angels strive to protect their communities and direct new users to relevant resources available to them on the platform. J0k3r’s go-to resources for learning about blockchain are Binance Academy and Binance Research; Sen prefers to turn to the Binance FAQ as his primary source of information for navigating the platform.

On this subject, Sen adds: “We frequently broadcast warning messages to our community, to inform them as best we can of the risks associated with the exchange of private messages on Telegram and any other platform of communication. But in the end, it's being informed that matters most: that's why Binance Academy is a great starting point and an essential guide for anyone new to the field. The Binance FAQ is a huge source of practical knowledge. Before using a new service or device, it is best to read its user manual: the Binance FAQ is the user manual. »

Mubis adds to this: “Our Ukrainian community is growing at lightning speed, and we must constantly watch over very active newcomers to avoid spam and obscenities. In the event of such violations, we send warnings to the user or mute them. »

The Angels entrust what is for them the most important facet of the management of their local community

According to J0k3r, the Angels are there to inform users of the latest Binance news and products, while encouraging exclusive use of official community channels on Telegram, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

“Users should definitely think for themselves and take part in AMA sessions, as well as the Learn & Earn program. Patience is also a key factor in avoiding many mistakes, such as sending cryptocurrencies to the wrong address due to haste. »

GuerrierLegendaire believes that members must above all understand the vision and values of the community, and conform to them even if they do not always share the opinion of the administrators. To resolve conflicts effectively, you must be patient and open.

Angelbpt considers that the most important mission of a Binance Angel is to prevent scams by warning users, which helps Angels deter scammers, but also simplifies the resolution of requests or problems from users. users. Additionally, having Angels resolve incidents that they can handle reduces the workload on the customer service team.

The Angels explain what being a moderator of their local community means to them

Building a welcoming community, where members can talk about crypto and Binance in a spirit of camaraderie, build connections, create relationships, exchange experiences and constantly learn, is one of the priorities of an Angel as moderator, says ErgoAVG.

J0k3r believes that it is crucial to remain impartial when it comes to presenting internal or external products: “If we call a project or token a scam, users might take our word for it, and that's not what we want. We are here to help users collect information, and once all the cards are in hand, decide whether a project or token is legitimate or not. »

GuerrierLegendaire agrees with this approach, adding: “It’s a heavy responsibility, because a single misstep can mislead thousands of people.

“As Binance Angels, we have to be careful what we say because someone might think we are agents of Binance, which is not the case. Our role is limited and we are not spokespersons for Binance: our opinions are our own, and we must make this very clear. »

Get help on Telegram

Binance Angels help communities and answer their questions, but we must not forget that their primary role is to direct users to the appropriate resources and information. Binance Angels do not represent Binance, and are not part of the official Binance customer service team: therefore, they are unable to resolve account issues. Please contact Binance Customer Support for assistance with this matter.

Finally, be aware that Angels will never send you a direct message on their own: be wary of scammers who may pose as Angels. As J0k3r reminds: “NEVER, ever respond to private messages sent by someone claiming to be a Binance Angel. Almost all private messages of this type sent on Telegram by strangers are scams: DO NOT respond and block them, then report them on Telegram. »

If you are unsure about a message you have received, ask your local chatroom for advice. Your safety must come first.

Binance Angel Nauman adds to this: “Binance customer support is not available on Telegram. When you receive a direct message that seems to come out of nowhere, 99% of the time it's a scam. Never disclose your BUID or personal information to anyone. We always provide users with the official customer service chat link, accessible from the Binance app. »

The Binance Angel RMADD states that when a user submits a request for help, the only information Binance needs is their Binance ID (BUID). This ID is used to associate the help incident with the affected account. RMADD also reminds users to be vigilant about phishing scams and avoid potentially dangerous links.
