BTC Report – August 25, 2025

Bitcoin fell about 2.7%, trading near $111,500 USD, following a sudden 'flash crash' driven by the massive sell-off of a 'whale' that sold 24,000 BTC, generating extreme liquidity and strong selling pressure. (turn0news30)
This pullback erased the recent recovery driven by favorable rate comments from Jerome Powell. (turn0news26)
Additionally, we observed net capital outflows from Bitcoin ETFs ($23 million in outflows) while Ethereum ETFs were the recipients of inflows ($341 million), which could indicate some shift in interest towards ETH.

Technically, there is a bullish gap in the CME futures that, if closed, could lead Bitcoin towards $116,900 USD, although that scenario might require a considerable rally.

On the other hand, MicroStrategy bought 3,081 more BTC, reinforcing its institutional bet on Bitcoin and bringing its total to 632,457 BTC, supporting the buyer side of the market. $BTC
