🚀 BNB Goes Big — $500M Public Treasury Set to Launch in the US

CEA Industries and 10X Capital, sponsored by YZi Labs (previously Binance Labs), announced a $500 million private placement to create the biggest publicly listed Binance Coin (BNB) treasury business.

A New BNB Treasury Strategy

A common equity Private Investment in Public Equity (PIPE) will raise $500 million—$400 million in cash and $100 million in bitcoin.

According to Monday's release, the cash would be utilized to establish a BNB Chain-focused crypto treasury strategy.

Chief Investment Officer Russell Read and incoming CEO David Namdar, a Galaxy Digital co-founder and 10X Capital senior partner, will lead the new BNB treasury strategy. Namdar stated:

BNB Chain is a popular blockchain ecosystem, but institutional investors have had restricted access. Establishing a US-listed treasury vehicle allows regular investors to engage openly.

Russell Read agreed with Namdar, highlighting Binance Coin's digital asset strength:

Real usefulness across industries like decentralized finance (DeFi) and corporate applications makes BNB institutional-grade exposure interesting. This treasury vehicle lets institutions participate in BNB's development story.

With YZi Labs' support, 10X Capital, a crypto industry veteran, will oversee the BNB treasury strategy. The corporation will start buying BNB tokens when the deal closes on July 31, 2025.

After the close, the business expects to create an initial BNB position and expand its holdings over 12 to 24 months via a “sophisticated capital markets program.”

They may also investigate Binance ecosystem alternatives like staking, lending, and others to create money while minimizing risk.

YZi Labs Head Ella Zhang was optimistic about a publicly traded Binance Coin treasury:

We always saw institutional potential, and the PIPE announcement confirms that. We are delighted to see this goal improve BNB's usefulness and institutional access sustainably.
