A cryptocurrency wallet that hasn't been touched since January 2011 was suddenly used for a large transfer — 3,962 bitcoins were sent from it. This is evidenced by data from BitInfoCharts.

The coins were purchased when bitcoin was worth about 39 cents. At that time, the total volume barely reached $1,558. By the time of the transaction, the price exceeded $118,000, and the total amount was over $468 million. It is unknown who made the transfer. It is also unclear whether this movement is related to other large transactions that occurred in the first half of July.
