Altcoins will not rise again like before
Here, ETH and SOL are the exceptions, why?
Because ETH and SOL, apart from BTC's siphoning, have their own funds within their ecosystems. While it's called internal ecosystem funds, it is actually supported by capital behind them. The ecosystems of these two can currently achieve self-sufficiency, and Ethereum has been able to sustain itself for several years now. The subsequent trend has been centered on SOL. One could say that apart from BTC, everything else is an altcoin. However, there are two currencies that are exceptions, namely ETH and SOL. Although these two are altcoins, they are fundamentally different from other altcoins. The price increases of the remaining vast majority of altcoins are primarily reliant on so-called narratives, speculation, and the release of significant upgrades. These positive short-term news items drive price increases. The internal ecosystem funds of SOL and ETH mentioned above provide reasons to sustain price increases, particularly the liquidity of the token prices. Liquidity is not driven by retail investors; in the crypto world, it is mostly driven by institutions, even numerous institutions. Some coins can maintain liquidity for extended periods, but their prices cannot stay at high levels, partly due to issues with their economic models. Take, for example, the previously popular tokens like Fil, etc.
