Me and the American Exchanges (SEC) filed a lawsuit against Ripple Labs, the company developing the XRP currency, accusing it
of
selling unregistered securities worth over $1.3 billion through the sale of RP currency.
After the partial ruling in July 2023, the price of XRP jumped more than 70 within hours.
This opened the door for the re-listing of the currency on major platforms such as: Coinbase and Binance US.
It alleviated some of the fear regarding similar cases against other currencies.
