Dark Throne is a series of games in the EPIC LEAGUE game ecosystem. It is an action role-playing game where players continuously upgrade their equipment and heroes through dungeons and arenas, obtain crystals, and cast NFTs to make profits. Players' initial league rankings are all Iron, and when players reach the league ranking of Bronze (above Iron), they can play for free and make money.
The gameplay of Dark Throne is very simple. You just need to move and click the mouse to dodge and attack monsters. No skills are required.
There are 6 professions in Dark Throne, each with different weapons and skills. In the default mode, players will have a rental hero when they enter the game. Players only need to choose their favorite profession to enter the role. Of course, players can also buy NFT heroes, which will have higher attribute multiplication and correspondingly receive more game rewards.
Similarly, NFT heroes in Dark Throne can be purchased, rented, minted, sold, collected, pledged, and merged/upgraded using tokens $EPL. The difference is that NFTs in Dark Throne can also be used in other games released on EPIC LEAGUE, such as Space Throne and Twilight Fantasy.
In Dark Throne, players will receive gold, equipment, and level experience after completing different dungeon missions. Players ranked bronze or above in the league will receive additional crystals as rewards. The crystals will be distributed after the league ends, and the number of crystals obtained by renting heroes will be less than expected.
The league is held every 7 days, and the ranking depends on the number of times the player completes the dungeon tasks. The more times, the higher the ranking.
In Dark Throne, gold coins are used to repair and synthesize equipment, as well as to purchase BUF effects, and gold coins can be obtained by completing tasks and selling equipment;
Sapphires can be obtained by completing daily tasks and upgrading equipment to the top status. Sapphires can be used to upgrade equipment, purchase BUF effects and scrolls (physical strength);
Gold coins and sapphires cannot be redeemed and can only be used for in-game consumption.
EPL Gems (Crystals) are the only assets in Dark Throne that can be exchanged for the project token $EPL. Only players who have reached bronze ranking or above in the league can obtain EPL Gems. The higher the ranking, the more rewards you will get.
Players can go to the arena to quickly obtain more EPL gems. The more people participate, the higher the ranking and the more rewards they will receive.
EPL gems can be used to expand warehouse capacity, or stored to obtain additional value-added services. However, if the EPL gems used for value-added services are to be recycled, a 72-hour waiting time is required.
EPL gems can be exchanged for in-game sapphires and scrolls (physical strength). Scrolls are restored a little every 2 hours, with a maximum of 5. Sapphires can also be exchanged for scrolls.
$EPL is the only project token of the entire EPIC LEAGUE game ecosystem, issued on Ethereum, BNB Chain and Polygon networks. It should be noted that the token name on the Ethereum chain is $EPL, and the token name on the BNB Chain and Polygon networks is $oEPL; currently players mainly exchange and cash out through DEX and CEX on BNB Chain and Polygon.
No game series in the EPIC LEAGUE game ecosystem, including Dark Throne, will directly generate tokens $EPL. Players in all series of games can only exchange EPL jewelry (crystals) for tokens $EPL, and finally realize cashing on DEX and CEX.
Like other tokens, $EPL can also be staked to earn rewards. The difference is that in order to control the circulation of $EPL, players will get stEPL after staking, and stEPL can only be exchanged for $EPL after completing the staking plan.

Now the hero level is 4, and the highest equipment is also level 3. In general, the game is pretty good, basically a simplified version of Diablo. Personally, it is pretty good to play it on a daily basis without making money. If you want to make money in a short period of time, you will probably have to rely on krypton gold, but whether the rate of return meets the standard depends on individual differences.
