⭐ Choose complex platforms.
The truth is that I have downloaded apps that I had to uninstall after a short time; I think that if you don't understand it, it's better not to use it.
⭐ Do not research coins before investing.
It is important to do your own research (DYOR) before buying a cryptocurrency, as the investment may not be worth it. Something I didn't do when I impulsively bought a Trump; I fell into FOMO, now it’s worth a third of what I paid and has no good expectations of recovering. 😣
⭐ Do not store the investment securely.
When investing in cryptocurrencies, it is not only necessary to acquire them but also to safeguard them securely. 🔐 There are wallets that can be hacked, that's why I withdrew all my funds from BitPay, but the truth is I don't know to what extent it is safe to keep them in this exchange.
⭐ Safeguard access keys and phrases in digital media.
This world is very technological, but any email, screenshot, hard drive, pendrive, laptop, or mobile phone can be stolen or hacked. Nothing is safer than keeping security phrases and keys on a well-protected piece of paper. Paper and pencil! In this case, the classic wins over the modern. 📝
⭐ Postponing security measures.
Two-step authentications, creation of Anti-Phishing phrases, codes sent to your email, biometric tests (put your fingerprint, 🎼Hey! look up🎶 -I got carried away-, blink, yawn, stick out your tongue 😝 take a picture with your passport, now with the neighbor's dog...); all of this may seem cumbersome and unnecessary, but any security measure is minimal against hackers.
⭐ Panic at a drop and sell.
Financial markets operate in cycles, prices rise and fall normally. If you get nervous and sell during a drop to cut losses, you've already lost. Before panicking and selling, wait for the next cycle, prices will rise again. AS LONG AS YOU DON'T SELL AT A LOSS, YOU HAVEN'T LOST ANYTHING. That's why I haven't sold my Pepe; I have it in the fridge just in case it comes back to life. 🐸
⭐ Not prioritizing financial education.
Read, study, ask those who know; above all, do not hand over your funds to a 'trading guru' to help you get rich. Learn yourself step by step. 📚
⭐ Do not diversify the investment.
The truth is this advice didn't work for me. I used to have only $BTC and my capital was steadily rising; that's when I got creative🤪: I bought $ETH and it got stuck forever in Shrek's muddy swamp, I bought Solana and it dropped, I bought Trump and it went to the basement, I bought Pepe and it fell, I converted my $SOL to BnSol and it dropped even more, among others... haha Now I have a very varied and volatile portfolio. 📈📉
Until next time. Kisses! 💜
