The Solana network experienced a fork event that affected TPS yesterday. The validator decided to restart and fork the chain. After the first attempt failed, the problem evolved from slow transaction processing to an almost complete interruption of activity on Solana. The validator coordinated a second restart with the developers of Solana Labs and decided to restart from slot 179526403 instead of 179526408.
