In the worst-case scenario, someone might see their money disappear.

But there are also those who, unexpectedly, have seen thousands - or millions - of euros appear in their account.

That is what happened to an Argentine woman, Verónica Acosta, who mistakenly received a transfer of 510 million Argentine pesos (approximately 22 million euros) in her bank account.

The astronomical sum, which she expected to be a child support payment of 8,000 pesos (6.16 euros), evidently came from an administrative error that was later discovered to originate from the provincial Government of San Luis.
