Germany is building a massive floating solar plant, the size of 200 football fields, on Lake Cottbus Ostsee, a former lignite mine.

Set to produce 29,000 MWh yearly, it will power over 8,000 homes. Slated for completion by winter 2024/2025, this 16-hectare project advances clean energy and land reclamation.
