Basic security rules

1️⃣ Never share your seed phrase

- No support service, no «technical department», no friends.

- Store it offline (paper/metal plate).

2️⃣ Use hardware wallets

- Ledger or Trezor – a good choice for storing BTC, ETH.

- Trust Wallet (for mobile) – only with cloud backup turned off.

- Tangem - the most reliable at the moment.

3️⃣ Enable 2FA everywhere

- Google Authenticator (not SMS!).

- For exchanges, email, wallets.

4️⃣ Check links

- Fake websites (binance.com, metamask.io) steal millions.

- Always enter the URL manually or use bookmarks.

5️⃣ Do not trust «guaranteed profits»

- 99% of «secret strategies» are scams.

- No «send 1 ETH → get 2 ETH».

💀 TOP-5 fraudulent schemes

1. Phishing – fake emails «from support».

2. Fake applications – downloaded the wrong MetaMask? Goodbye, deposit.

3. Counterfeit tokens – you will be «airdropped» SCAM-coin, then they steal access.

4. Social engineering – «help, I'm from the Vitalik team».

5. Fake NFTs – bought a «rare» Punk, but got a fake.

🛡️ Additional protection

- Separate email for crypto accounts.

- Cold storage for large amounts.

- Limits on exchanges – to quickly revoke access in case of a hack.
