According to Foresight News, Galaxy Digital has completed the acquisition of Celsius' institutional self-custody platform GK8 for US$44 million. GK8 solution services will continue to be provided to the market, and Galaxy will integrate the technology into its upcoming crypto brokerage platform GalaxyOne. Celsius acquired GK8 for US$115 million in November 2021, and the valuation discount of this transaction exceeded 60%.

Foresight News previously reported that Celsius filed for bankruptcy protection in July last year and sold several assets, including GK8.
