Spotify moves into Web3

According to reports from Coindesk, the music streaming platform Spotify is testing a new feature called "Token-enabled Playlists" (token-certified playlists), which allows users who hold specific NFTs to connect to the blockchain wallet in Spotify and obtain exclusive music playlist.

Current Fluf, Moonbirds, Kingship and Overlord community NFT holders can test this feature through designated links, and during the three-month testing period, the music in the exclusive playlist will be continuously updated.

In addition, according to Kingship’s Twitter, the operation process of this function is as follows:

  1. After clicking the play button of the exclusive playlist, the wallet link option will pop up.

  2. Select the wallet you want to use and agree to be linked to Spotify.

  3. You can start listening to the music in the list.

However, this feature currently only supports Android users in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand, and Spotify officials have not disclosed the future development of this plan.
