There are two types of risks in EigenLayer: the possibility of many operators colluding to attack a group of AVS simultaneously and accidental slashing. We propose two solutions here: security audits and veto power over fines. Additionally, we note that AVS achieves maximum security when securing an AVS with all ETH that is recollateralized using EigenLayer. But there are two major obstacles. EigenLayer proposes two possible module design patterns to alleviate these concerns: very large-scale AVS and lightweight AVS.
