This week (May 12 - May 18, 2025), major Web3 events not to be missed. The following is a preview of the exciting events this week:

Monday (May 12): SEC Chairman Paul Atkins will deliver a keynote speech at the SEC cryptocurrency roundtable on May 12, discussing tokenization issues. Panelists include representatives from Fidelity, Nasdaq, BlackRock, and Invesco.

Tuesday (May 13): Binance announced that starting May 13, 2025, it will launch an Alpha point consumption mechanism. If users successfully participate in token generation activities (TGE) or claim airdrops, the system will deduct a certain number of Alpha points.

The TRUMP dinner ranking will close at 1:30 AM Beijing time on May 13, at which point the top 220 dinner qualifications will be locked. Trump himself will attend the dinner on May 22.

The SNS airdrop for sns.sol will begin on May 13, with the claim window officially closing on August 11. Unclaimed tokens will be returned for ecosystem development.

Wednesday (May 14): The token name EOS of the Web3 banking operating system Vaulta (formerly EOS Network) will change to A on May 14, with a 1:1 exchange and no changes to token economics or fees.

WLFI initiated a Snapshot proposal to 'airdrop USD1 stablecoin to WLFI holders,' aiming to test the on-chain airdrop functionality, with voting ending on May 14.

VanEck plans to launch a new crypto-related ETF called 'NODE' on May 14. This ETF will invest in 30 to 60 stocks related to the digital asset economy, as well as investments in crypto exchanges, Bitcoin mining companies, and data centers.

Thursday (May 15): The deadline for BlockFi creditors to claim bankruptcy compensation is May 15; otherwise, unclaimed assets will be distributed to other unsecured creditors according to bankruptcy law. Currently, 97% of U.S. users have claimed compensation, but only 43% of non-U.S. users have.

The distributed validation infrastructure Obol will have its TGE on May 15.

Friday (May 16): Galaxy plans to list on Nasdaq on May 16.

The American fast-food chain Steak 'n Shake will support Bitcoin payments in stores nationwide starting on May 16, allowing over 100 million customers to purchase products like burgers and milkshakes with Bitcoin.

Saturday (May 17): The registration deadline for the RESOLV airdrop by the Resolv Foundation is 7:59 AM Beijing time on May 17.

Avalanche (AVAX) will unlock 1.67 million tokens valued at approximately 41.5 million USD on May 17 at 8:00, accounting for 0.4% of the circulation.

Sunday (May 18): Melania Meme (MELANIA) will unlock approximately 26.25 million tokens valued at about 10.4 million USD on May 18 at 8:00, accounting for 6.63% of the circulation.
