According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on May 10, Kelly Benefits, a human resources company in Maryland, submitted documents to the Maine Attorney General's office disclosing a significant cybersecurity incident affecting 413,032 Americans.

The investigation revealed that an unknown entity unauthorizedly accessed the company's database between December 12 and 17, 2024, stealing sensitive customer information, including names, birth dates, social security numbers, tax identification numbers, medical and health insurance records, and financial account data.

Kelly Benefits stated that it has notified the affected individuals and provided 12 months of credit monitoring and identity theft protection services. The company claims that there is currently 'no evidence of any information related to this incident being misused' and has reported the data breach to federal law enforcement and regulatory agencies.
